Wolski back for final trial

French defender Mikael Wolski is back at the club for his third and final trial period. He originally trained and impressed in the summer before picking up a nasty ankle injury and returned before he had fully recovered.

Likened by Dave MacKinnon to " a cross between Gregor Stevens and Gordan Petric", the club have kept the door open for him and see him as the final piece in the squad jigsaw giving competition for every place.

He trained with the squad this morning and will feature in the reserve match against Hibs on Tuesday night.

If he impresses again, it could spell bad news for Simon Ford, as the club's budget may only stretch to one contract, and Ford who has been a fixture in the first team and playing on a temporary contract, could be squeezed out.
