KILMARNOCK 1-1 HIBERNIAN

Mark Burchill opens his Kilmarnock account as he scores his first goal for the club, in a feisty action-packed game at the Theatre. In the first half Ayrshire's Finest could have had the game wrapped up if the chances had been taken and executed, as according to the statistics during that half, Killie had 4 shots on target compared to Hibernian's single shot.

In the second half Mark scored his first goal after 53 minutes and unfortunetly something that has to be typical of our team, we can't hold onto a lead (when we do go ahead) for very long, as was the case when Anthony Stokes scored the equaliser for Hibernian just 6 minutes later.

Had we won this game the result taking in the other results from the other games involving teams in the bottom half of the SPL, would have seen us pip Hearts to 8th place in the table so we did gain a point from this game but again the opportunity was there for us go on and win it!

UP NEXT

Falkirk pop-in for a visit to the Theatre next week and a game in which we must not lose! There is only 4 points seperating ourselves and Falkirk in the table and should the envitable happen, that will bring the gap down to a single point. The boys need everyone that can they can possibly get to be cheering them on in the stands - I for one will be there at the game - hope you will be too!

KILLIE TILL I DIE - MON THE KILLIE!
