Killie Take Well Earned Draw at Celtic Park

Those who managed to watch this game would have thought that the home side would of had an easy ride, simply due to the fact that the visitors have not had a decent win at Parkhead since 1955. However they would be wrong because despite the fact that Celtic dominated both in possession and shots on target, it was the visitors that scored first.

Who scored the opener? Connor "The Fish" Sammon of course from the left hand side of the penalty box and managed to get the ball into the back of the net from a very narrow angle. Celtic 0-1 Kilmarnock.

The home side still doing most of the pressing and still keeping posession but they could not find the equaliser and then when the visitors thought that their away hoodoo at Celtic Park would end that night - what happened? Hamill fouled a player from the home side after which a free kick was given, the allowed Rogne to score the goal no thanks to the gaping Killie defence.

So despite Killie scoring the opener against Celtic for the second time this season, they just could not hold on.  Celtic gaffer Neil Lennon looking disgusted however Kilmarnock more than delighted to take a point away from this game.

Full time score:  Celtic 1-1 Kilmarnock
