Killie dragged closer to the drop after loss to Buddies!

A decent performance in the first half kept the scores level at 0-0 and during the first half - Scott Severin's shot hit the post, Manuel Pascali's header missed the net by inches, Kevin Kyle's attempt went 8 yards wide and Mark Burchill's shot went over the bar . The home side also had their chances - Stephen O'Donnell's shot went into the side netting, Higdon's shot went wide plus another shot went straight to Cammy Bell's hands.

It was in the second half when the only goal of the game was scored by the home side.  It took just under 75 minutes for the deadlock to be broken by Andy Dorman's header.

Killie's dire away form continues and drags Ayrshire's Finest even closer to the relegation zone.  You have to ask - will Killie ever score and away goal again?  We have one more away match to do such a thing but for now we face the Perthsire Saints - St Johnstone at home.

I could not stress this more but this is a game we must - must - must win.  If we lose then I can only say that the early kick-off Doomsday Prevention Match, against Falkirk at home could well be the game which will decide our beloved club's fate.

AYRSHIRE NEEDS KILMARNOCK FOOTBALL CLUB - BE THERE ON SATURDAY AND CHEER THE TEAM ON! KILLIE TILL I DIE!
