Jambos get another beating from Killie...

This game turned out to be just as entertaining as the previous one at Tynecastle.

The first half was really entertaining and provided chances for both sides, however none of the opportunities were taken. Hearts enjoyed the majority of the possession but failed to turn any of that into goals during the first 45 minutes. The home side also seemed to be the team that were hungrier to score than the visitors. One particular incident during the first half that could of been less of a note,  is that of when  after the 21st minute Captain Craig Bryson reacted to a slight trip from the Jambos Rudi Skacel, and inevitably he was on the reciept of a yellow card. Half time score: Hearts 0-0 Kilmarnock.

Into the second half and this end of the match turned out to be much like to the first half, except with an added incident or two, a sending off plus goals. Again chances for both sides but the home side being left frustrated because they like in the first half, just could not score despite having umpteen shots on goal! They did come close however but those chances were saved by the Killie defence or by the Killie keeper.

The side previously known for not taking their chances, did in fact score just like they did in the previous game at Tynecastle.  First up was David Silva who managed to dodge and weave through the Jambos defence after he collected the ball from a passing error from the Jambos midfield. He dribbled the ball avoiding the Hearts players and edged a low drive shot past Hearts keeper Kello.

Silva this time was assist provider for Killie's second and he passed the ball to Eremenko who then shot the ball into the back of the net from close range to make it 2-0. Eremenko's game was then shortly ended after he clashed with two Hearts players and then got a red card. So Ayrshire's Finest was done to 10 men but could they hang on? They did despite the number of attempts the home side put in, again none of the Jambos scoring opportunities could have been turned into goals.

2 wins out of 2 for Kilmarnock at Tynecastle however the home record against the Edinburgh side must improve.  Full time score: Hearts 0-2 Kilmarnock.
