HAMILTON 0-0 KILMARNOCK

In a yet another game which was a must win for Ayrshire's Finest, it turned out to be a goalless draw.

The first half saw the majority of shots and corners went to the home side as well as they usual load of fouls.  Shots for Killie came from Kevin Kyle following from Craig Bryson's cross which cleared the bar then Mark Burchill having a go but his shot was saved from Thomas Cerny then shortly after Mehdi's corner was cleared from Simon Mensing. Just before the half hour mark Mark Burchill came off and was replaced by youngster Liam Kelly.

After 38 minutes Hamilton's James McArthur is shown a yellow card for unsporting behaviour, after which Kevin Kyle takes a shot followed on from Hooky's (Garry Hay) cross. Coming up for the end of the first half, Cameron Bell would have to have been man of the match as he had made save after save after save, which goes to show how bad our defence is. Jamie Hmill's shot goes over the bar.

Second half gets under way and within 3 minutes of the restart Garry Hay has a shot on goal but it goes wide. There is then a double substitution for Accies - Marco Paixao comes off for Jordan Kirkpatrick and Stuart Elliott is off for Kyle Wilkie. Kevin Kyle takes another shot which is saved Thomas Cerny.  Manuel Pascali takes a shot from Craig Bryson's corner but it's saved again by the Accies keeper. Accies Richard Hastings is substituted for Trent McClenan. Jamie Hamill is then shown a yellow card. Garry Hay has shot but it's again saved.  The home side clearly dominated this half.

NEXT UP: The Tangerines comes to visit us at the Theatre and they will be looking to continue the good run that they have had but only Ayrshire's Finest can cause an upset! MON THE KILLIE!
