A shot on the run by Nacho Novo went wide of the target five minutes before half time.

Five minutes after the interval Dundee defender David Mackay made a great run upfield and after a one-two with Gavin Rae he put himself in a great posistion inside the box, but his right-foot shot was turned around the post by Gordon Marshall.
