KILMARNOCK 1-0 CELTIC

All the attention before kick-off was around Robbie Keane who transferred to Glasgow's East End in the last minute  from White Hart Lane before the transfer window shut.

During the first half both sides had their chances as usual but none were taken, even with some of Celtic's new signings on the pitch none could show their worth. The first half whistle came and went but still it was 0-0. Into the second half and the same thing happened, chance after chance which must have left the home side frustrated but then...., one of our new signings Chris Miguire on loan from Aberdeen came up and scored the winning goal aftr 53 minutes - what a peach it was!! KILMARNOCK 1-0 CELTIC.  The visitors tried and tried to find the equaliser but they failed! The full time whistle went and it remained KILMARNOCK 1-0 CELTIC!!

The greatest fans in the world looked down in the dumps and so they should be! This win for us has been long overdue and may it continue (we hope).
