Sources inside BBC Scotland in Glasgow have confirmed their understanding that Chick Young will be leaving to join Irish media-giants Setanta in time for the forthcoming season.
An insider revealed "Chick has long been an admirer of Setanta, and maybe now the time is right for a switch. He feels he's gone as far as he can with the BBC, and with Setanta's significantly higher salary, this is an opportunity he feels he cannot miss".
Chick Young was unavailable for comment at time of writing, but maybe now he'll understand what it feels like to broadcast unsubstantiated tripe.
