"it wasn't a classic by any means, the first half was pretty dire. the back four and James Fowler were outstanding and Colin Nish tried hard, and i'm not going to be too hard on Rhian Dodds on his first start of the season. but, in the spl, when you have 3 or 4 players who did not perform, you run the risk of losing. They had 10 outfield players battling for it and we had probably 6. They won more important balls than we did and we only really showed any urgency when we went 1-0 down."

On the absence of Allan Johnston (groin strain) "Johnston gets the ball down and gets us going, he has that bit of composure, but it was a chance for others."
