Come this Sunday the steelmen from Lanarkshire, Motherwell come to visit the Theatre as is our first home game of the new season. However this Sunday is no ordinary Sunday.
This Sunday will see a renaming ceremony take place, in which our stadium's main (west) stand, be renamed "The Frank Beattie Stand". The stand is being named after one our clubs legends, Frank Beattie who recently passed away.
So in amongst our usual home crowd the remaining boys from the team, that won us the Scottish League title back in 1965 will be in attendance as well Frank Beattie's family. What a day it's going to be! Hopefully a special one and one that we get 3 points!!
We need as many bahookie's on seats in the stands as we can get for this game, so no hanging about in the hotel or sports bar till kick-off!! Make sure you are in the stands before kick-off!!
