Congratulations to Kilmarnock Manager Mixu Paatelainen on winning the Manager of the Month Award.
Since Mixu arrived he has almost completely transformed the Ayrshire side, from when they were under his two predecessors Jimmy Calderwood and Jim Jeffries. The Ayrshire Faithful are seeing more attacking and entertaining football, not to mention a load more goals compared to seasons past.
Additionally he has also brought in a lot of more signings on the current budget and they have proved to be more than worthwhile additions to the squad. Mixu has fans and visitors to Rugby Park Stadium in general seeing a different Kilmarnock side, who have also had one of the best starts to season for years.
In contrast there has also been a much more confident and better feeling between the players while in training and on the pitch, again unlike seasons gone by. All of this has led to the blue and whites sitting in the highest position they have been for last few years and that is saying something!
