New goalkeeper signs on at the Threatre

Mixu Paatelainen has worked his magic again but using his contacts in his homeland to bring new talent to Rugby Park. 

The time it's Finnish goalkeeper Anssi Jaakkola who once het gets international clearance, will join fellow shotstoppers Cameron Bell, Kyle Letheren and Alan Combe. This is a rare treat for the club as it's been a long time, more than a decade in fact since Kilmarnock last had 4 goalkeepers.

The 23 year old has agreed to a 2 and a half year deal from his previous club Czech Republic's Slavia Prague.

Adding to this more good news for the Rugby Park Faithful is that current first choice goalkeeper Cameron Bell, has been offered a new and longer contract, which according to reports from the club, he has verbally agreed to sign.

Kilmarnock-Mad would like to welcome Anssi to Kilmarnock Football Club and hope that he enjoys his time with the District's Finest footballing team.
