As most of us fans know that money is the main thing on the players mind than what club he is going to be playing for in the season to come, but not this time as former Kilmarnock striker has rejected a golden cash opportunity to relocate to Greece, in order to rejoin former Kilmarnock gaffer Jim Jeffries at his new club Hearts.

Kyle has also stated that personal reasons were behind the decision and he adds that he like working under Jim and Bill when they were in charge at Kilmarnock. He can't wait to be with them again and do the same for them only this time at Hearts.

JJ in response to the signing of Kevin Kyle has said: "He was in demand and I know other SPL clubs were after him and he could have got a lot more money going to Greece, so that just shows how much he wants to play for Hearts.

"I'm confident he will do well for us. He is a threat to defenders and, with the players we have who can deliver the ball from out wide, he will get great service.

We brought Kevin back to Scotland and got him into the Scotland squad and know just what he can bring to the team and I know for a fact defenders don't like playing against him. It's not just the goals he will score, it's the chances he will create for others, which is another positive side to his game."
