The club have today announced the signing of Portueguese striker Rui Miguel on a loan deal, subject to international clearance from CSKA Sofia. The 26 year old joined CSKA Sofia a year ago and score 8 goals from 33 appearances for the club.
Mark Burchill, David Fernandez, Kevin Kyle and Allan Russell all left Rugby Park during the close season, so Kilmarnock manager Mixu Paatelainen new that his next target signing had to be a striker. Miguel was one of the targets and Mixi made the move after he impressed when on trial at Kilmarnock.
Rui Maguel if given international clearance on time, could be in the starting XI to face Celtic on Sunday.
