Simon Ford has been at Ayrshire's Finest and playing in the blue and white stripes, of Kilmarnock FC for a number of years. At the end of the season when his contract expired, he turned down the offer of a new contract. Who would blame him with the hullaballoo going on at the Theatre?
This left him with a few options and today he signed a 2 year deal with the Spireites also known as Chesterfield. The Jamaican international has made 163 appearances for Killie and also has 3 caps for his country.
Simon will officially join Chesterfield on the 1st of July. Kilmarnock-Mad would like to thank Simon for what he has done for Kilmarnock in his time and wish him well for the future.
