We possibly (got some help from the referee)
Rangers manager Walter Smith believes the award of a soft opening penalty was evened out by the cancellation of Barry Ferguson's 'goal', the Light Blues' skipper wrongly given offside when he headed home a Charlie Adam free-kick.
Smith said: "We possibly (got some help from the referee), I haven't seen it but by all accounts we may have got a little break there.
"Although certainly, I think Barry Ferguson's goal was onside, so I suppose at the end of the day, one balanced out the other.
"I don't think the refereeing was the most important thing about the game, it was how the teams played.
"I was pleased with parts of our game, I thought in the last half hour we were poor in terms of our possession of the ball which led to us being pinned back.
"I felt that if we could have kept the ball better then we would have eradicated a lot of problems that we had .
"But in the 15 minutes after half-time we should have had the game tied up."
