RUGBY PARK TO HOST AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS

International football returns to Kilmarnock next month as the SFA announced today that Rugby Park will host the Scotland v England Under 16 match in the Victory Shield and Scotland v Poland Futures squads, what was once known as the B internationals.

It is a welcome financial boost for the club, and as the youth match will be screened live by sky, it is another opportunity for the club put on a good show.

It will be expected that the Futures team will contain some well known faces, with Gay McDonald already capped at that level and Steven Naismith surely having done enough so far this season to warrant inclusion, with Boydy in the frame as well. Gordon Greer and Graeme Smith could also find their way into the reckoning.

It is another incentive for Killie players to force the selectors hands in the coming weeks and have the chance of pulling on the Dark Blue in front of your own supporters.
