LEVEN MAKES SCOTLAND DEBUT

Last updated : 16 November 2004 By Brian Murray
Killie's Peter Leven marked his international debut by setting up Scotland's solitary strike in a 2- 1 defeat to Sweden.

Leven, a late call-up to the squad, came on as substitute and his back heel helped Jamie McCunnie to claw a goal back for the Scots, who had gone two behind.

The result leaves the young Scots still searching for their first win in over a year. Leven's Killie team-mate Craig Samson did not feature in the match.
