KILMARNOCK'S KYLE OPEN TO OPTIONS ON HIS FUTURE

Kevin Kyle's contract is up at the end of the season and there has still been no talks as whether, he'll be given a chance to resign for the club as soon as Killie's SPL status is safe. He is open-minded about all the options available to him however he states that he has enjoyed his time at The Theatre and does not want to leave. In the meantime his focus is yet again helping Killie avoid relegation.

"Finishing 7th would be a great result despite the fact that we've flirted with relegation all season.  Obviously we're not going to finish in the top six but if we can finish 7th then we've done our job. We've got four games before the split, three of them winnable."

The 28 year old striker rejected to a move to Russian club Spartak Nalchik and despite not have any offers, says "nothing concrete yet so I'll wait and see what happens."

Speaking ahead of tonights big game: "the most important thing is to win or at least not lose it.  A point would not be a disaster but we're going for a win as those three points could go a long way to keeping Kilmarnock in the league. It's always nicer to finish in the top half of the table and play the so-called better teams.  Anyone can beat anyone on the day, it's just the bigger teams have had more consistency this season."
