Last updated : 09 August 2013 By Killie Kingdom

Excellent news to bring for the home support in that, Killie's Captain Manuel Pascali makes his long overdue return to the squad, following his lengthy time on the sidelines. David Robertson is the only one on the sidelines for St Johnstone.

This is the Ayrshire men's first home game of the season, so you would expect a home win to please to attending home fans. St Johnstone however are hurting from their exit in a rather short tenure in Europe, so will be looking to end the game with a positive end.

Let's look at the statistics between the sides... and shockingly St Johnstone have got the upper hand, as last season they beat Kilmarnock on every single occasion! They beat the Ayrshire side each time with either a 2-0 or 2-1 scoreline!

New gaffer Allan Johnson has a heck of a mountain to climb on Sunday, if he is to in any way starting to move those statistics towards Ayrshire.

We can only hope.
