JJ accuses official

Jim Jefferies is likely to face a heavy SFA censure as he brought the integrity of an official into question.

Jefferies was sent to the stand after an outburst following Rangers opening goal which he felt was clearly offside. Television replays suggest that linesman Andy Davis was correct to allow play to continue, but Jefferies remained adamant that he should have raised his flag. " I am annoyed because I thought there might be something controversial today when saw who the official was. maybe the authorities shouldn't give people games who have been involved in cntroversy with a certain club."

Killie certainly didn't get the benefit of any breaks against Rangers and should have had a penalty when Bob Malcolm's arm stopped a goal bound effort.

Billy Brown was hauled before the beaks after a half-time outburst after Kris Boyd had a "goal" disallowed against Celtic and was let off with a warning. whether JJ will get off so lightly is questionable, particularly with the benefit of TV.

Do you think JJ was right, or do you believe an experienced manager should have kept his views private? Let us know on the messageboard.
