Jefferies looking to break Hearts

Hearts travel to Rugby Park still hoping to clinch a UEFA Cup spot if nearest rivals Aberdeen slip up against Rangers at Pittodrie.
In contrast, Killie have nothing but pride to play for after securing fifth place in the SPL with a win over Rangers last week.
However, Jefferies has vowed not to cheat the Kilmarnock fans by putting on a half-hearted show and the former Jambos boss insists there will be no favours for his old club.

"It's a big game for Kilmarnock," he said. "We've beaten Hibs away 1-0, we've beaten Rangers away 1-0 and we had a very good performance here against Celtic when they were going for the title.
"If you ask anybody at Celtic, they know they were given a hard game that day. Nobody lay down to them and we won't be lying down to Hearts either.
"We want to get three wins on the trot. For us to get three wins from the five hardest fixtures would be phenomenal for our players.

"Then we can say it's been a really fantastic finish to another fantastic season.
"We want to please our supporters on Sunday. If we give our best, we know we've got a great chance of winning.
"If it goes against us, we'll be delighted for Hearts and will congratulate them but they won't get it easy."

Kilmarnock striker Steven Naismith backed those claims, insisting Jefferies' previous association with Hearts will count for nothing this weekend.
"He was at the club a long time ago and I'm sure he won't be doing them any favours," he said.
"Even if he plays some of the younger boys, I'm sure they will come in with no problems. We will be confident we can get the win.

"It's going to be a tough game with Hearts trying to get into Europe.
"I'm pretty sure the manager is not going to let us come out half-heartedly and have a poor performance. We'll be out there trying to get the win."
Killie have a notoriously poor record against the Old Firm and Naismith believes last week's 1-0 victory at Ibrox - thanks to his goal - will spur the team on to end the season on a high.

He added: "We waited a long time for that and we're full of confidence this week. Hopefully we can take it into the Hearts game and get another win.
"It's the last week and a lot of people are saying the games are pretty dull and don't have a lot of quality.
"But we want to give our fans a good send off for showing their support throughout the season. We will be wanting to win."
