Jarvis in for the Killie

Kilmarnock are completing the signing on Friday of 21-year-old striker Ryan Jarvis on loan from English Championship outfit Norwich City.
But Killie manager Jim Jefferies insists that it is not in preparation for the sale of Steven Naismith.
"Paul di Giacomo needs games and we are allowing him to go out on loan, so it is one in, one out," he told BBC Sport.

"We have known about Ryan for some time and had him watched. Norwich don't want to lose him but feel he needs games."
Rangers failed in their attempt to sign Scotland Under-21 star Naismith earlier in the summer and reports claim that the Ibrox club will make another bid before the end of the transfer window.
"We are hoping to keep Steven Naismith and nothing has changed," said Jefferies.

"Ryan would be here whether or not Steven Naismith is staying as he is a good young prospect who has represented England at Under-19 and Under-20 level."
Jefferies was tipped off about Jarvis' availability by former Dundee and Hibernian manager Jim Duffy, now assistant at Carrow Road.
"Jim Duffy speaks very highly of the lad. He wants the chance to play regular football," said the Killie manager.

"I remember him from the Milk Cup a few years back, when I watched him score the winner for Norwich against Hearts. These things stick in your mind.
"He's done very well whenever I've seen him recently.
"It's good for us to bring a new face into the club and it's good for the boy to have a chance to play first-team football.

"You only have to look at the examples of Anthony Stokes and Kasper Schmeichel at Falkirk to see how a move like this can benefit clubs and players."
Jarvis has made 28 league appearances for Norwich, although 23 of those have been as a substitute.
He had a loan spell at Colchester in 2005 and another at Leyton Orient last season.

And he could make his Kilmarnock debut in Saturday's clash with Rangers in the Scottish Premier League at Rugby Park should he receive international clearance.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Di Giacomo is likely to join First Division outfit Partick Thistle until January.

He has not made any appearances for Kilmarnock this season.
