Killie keeper Alan Combe's excellent early season form has been recognised by Scotland caretaker boss Tommy Burns as he was called up to the national squad for the friendly against Sweden later this month.

Combe was snapped up in the summer after his contract was cancelled at Bradford and his form has inspired confidence in his defenders.

Celtic's David Marshall is likely to start the game with Combe and Hearts' Craog gordon on the bench.
