BOYD & SUTTON KEY MEN IN SPL CLASH

Two strikers of similar style but at different ends of their careers are set to be key players in Saturday's clash at Rugby Park.

Celtic's Chris Sutton and Kilmarnock's Kris Boyd carry the goal-scoring burden of their respective sides.

Boyd, who turns 21 later this month, scored fifteen goals last season and has targeted an improved return for this term. He scored the winner in last week's notable victory against a fired-up Hibs side.

Sutton is also off and running after tapping home Celtic's second against Motherwell at Parkhead. Much will be expected of Sutton both in Europe and domestically, as Celtic look for life after Larsson.

Both strikers enjoy the physical challenge of the SPL, and Boyd could do a lot worse than study Suton's more subtle use of the body compared to the occasional full-bodied lunge which he is sometimes guilty of.

Boyd knows he must make the most of any chances that come his way against the Old Firm, as they don't come along very often, but he has scored goals in these fixtures before and I expect to see him come off the pitch a happier man than is more experiences opponent.
