Kilmarnock will not be signing French trialist after talks broke down.

The club had offered a six-month contract which had been accepted in principle, but when the player tried to change the details Kilmarnock pulled the plug on the deal.

"There were a couple of professional problems with Oumar" said a club spokesman, but would not be drawn further.

Bakari's performances in the friendly matches with Derby County and Leicester City had excited the fans, but it will be left to Freddy Dindeleux and David Lilley, who has recovered from a neck injury to fill the central defensive slots while Killie's search for a star continues.
